Curated and Organised Address Style Trunk Show

Procrastinating lapsed deadlines, piling up the work and leaving this post unfinished since past one week while I’ve been dying to get it live soon as it was being difficult to contain the bubbling excitement to share Style Destino’s newest stint. Here I am finally sharing it with you in words and pictures.

Style Destino (aka me) curated and co-organised “Address Style – Trunk Show” last week featuring 26 finest Indian designers including Cue by Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna, Suket Dhir, Lacquer Embassy, House of Chic, Ritika Bharwani, Debashri Samanta, MA Earth Botanicals, Quirk Box and more, in the womenswear, menswear, accessories and beauty categories. This invitation only event was one of its kind that the city of Indore ever witnessed and it was a fantabulous experience.

From getting the designers on board (biggies like Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna and many LFW and Wills Lifestyle designers), to selecting outfits with the designers for the show, getting the invitations done, social media marketing and the display and planning – it was a wonderful experience. There were styling sessions, live nail spa {for pampering} and StyleDotMe photbooth that made the event interactive and fun. Got an amazing response from the city and a great experience.

Here’s a little peek for you and of course my #OOTD, which was custom-made by the amazing designer Ritika Bharwani from Mumbai.

And here’s what I wore

Had a blast while working with the whole team and a special thanks to Vipin and Pallavi for this wonderful opportunity. Looking forward for another trunk show very soon!!

🇳🇱Netherlands now officially recommends reducing meat consumption, cutting cheese intake by half, and increasing plant-based proteins.

Why? Because food choices impacts m our health, and also the climate.

And the shift goes beyond advice….. Amsterdam has even banned meat advertisements in public spaces to encourage lower-emission food choices.

A fascinating example of how climate policy is increasingly showing up in everyday life. 🌱

What can we do?
Let’s ditch animal foods and embrace a plant based diet. Compassion + health

Thought cruelty-free meant no harm to animals? Thought you were buying ethical? Think again 😬😬

👉🏻 There’s a difference brands won’t tell you — 🐰 #crueltyfree doesn’t guarantee no animals were harmed. A cruelty free product can still have fish oil, bug juice or other animal ingredients.

You need to make sure the products you’re buying are both Cruelty-Free & #Vegan!

Let us get back to basics - slow living, clean (#plantbased) eating, buying what we need, ♻️ reusing-repurposing-recycling, treating food as medicine, less screen time and more living, connecting with nature, 🌎 giving planet the respect it deserves!

Because #EarthDay is everyday.

don’t travel solo…
“you’re married, go with your husband” — We’ve all heard this before…
but here’s the truth… solo travel hits different.

you reconnect with yourself, travel at your own pace, do things you love {and finally do everything you wanted to but was always pushing it back}, 🍰 eat what you want (all those vegan desserts without anyone watching you ☺️🙃), talk to strangers (a lot), sit alone without feeling weird ….. and somewhere in all that, you meet yourself.

scary? Not at all.
worth it? every single time. ✨
