SHOPBOPPING: REVIEW

A couple of weeks ago I unexpectedly landed on shopbop.com (I’ve seen their online store a couple of times earlier) and thought I’d dish up a bit for some window shopping and the seemingly harmless browsing ended up in an indulgence (towards the end of the month when the bank balance was already not hitting the right notes).

Now before you start raising your brow, in my defense I am really bored of my wardrobe and it needs some serious overhaul. So when I spotted this Tibi emerald green top with (what looked like) subtle bling and unstructured cut, it suddenly became a ‘must buy’. I mean how could it not? Besides while browsing online I came across this spread (of Olivia above) and it inspired me into buying the emerald green bling.
Since I was already buying something, I had to buy a basic tee (seriously I barely have them, I always loathed tee but lately a sudden discovery of their practicality compelled me to reconsider their existence {no-existence actually} in my wardrobe). The tee didn’t fit as I’d expected, but a teeny-weeny alteration should fix that.
I couldn’t resist taking it out from the wardrobe and putting it on, so here I am smugly coffee-ing around in my new buy.

Now about Shopbopping, my online shopping has become a never-ending obsession. Latest find www.shopbop.com (great store to quench your designer fetish) – its wonderful place to shop and find all cool stuff that is otherwise unavailable in your country (their sale period is the best time to get some great bargains).

The shopping experience at shopbop.com – wonderful, easy to navigate, multiple filters to choose from the right selection and a quick checkout together made it a great place to shop. Their free international express shipping tempted me to buy, and it indeed was quick. I received my stuff within 5 days delivered to my doorstep directly from UK (and they had all taxes including customs already added in the checkout that made life a lot easier).

Share your online shopping experience, would love to know about new places to shop from 😉
Tomorrow is Monday, the morning blues are already daunting
P.S. in case you’re wondering, this is not a sponsored post. I dread it though, I think I ought to be paid for it, don’t you think?

🇳🇱Netherlands now officially recommends reducing meat consumption, cutting cheese intake by half, and increasing plant-based proteins.

Why? Because food choices impacts m our health, and also the climate.

And the shift goes beyond advice….. Amsterdam has even banned meat advertisements in public spaces to encourage lower-emission food choices.

A fascinating example of how climate policy is increasingly showing up in everyday life. 🌱

What can we do?
Let’s ditch animal foods and embrace a plant based diet. Compassion + health

Thought cruelty-free meant no harm to animals? Thought you were buying ethical? Think again 😬😬

👉🏻 There’s a difference brands won’t tell you — 🐰 #crueltyfree doesn’t guarantee no animals were harmed. A cruelty free product can still have fish oil, bug juice or other animal ingredients.

You need to make sure the products you’re buying are both Cruelty-Free & #Vegan!

Let us get back to basics - slow living, clean (#plantbased) eating, buying what we need, ♻️ reusing-repurposing-recycling, treating food as medicine, less screen time and more living, connecting with nature, 🌎 giving planet the respect it deserves!

Because #EarthDay is everyday.

don’t travel solo…
“you’re married, go with your husband” — We’ve all heard this before…
but here’s the truth… solo travel hits different.

you reconnect with yourself, travel at your own pace, do things you love {and finally do everything you wanted to but was always pushing it back}, 🍰 eat what you want (all those vegan desserts without anyone watching you ☺️🙃), talk to strangers (a lot), sit alone without feeling weird ….. and somewhere in all that, you meet yourself.

scary? Not at all.
worth it? every single time. ✨
