Style is a reflection..

Style is a reflection of how you feel, the mood mirrors the outfit.
I’m totally in the festive mood so it’s no surprise I’ve been rummaging my wardrobe for some bling and was glad to find something {from my sister’s wardrobe}.

Forever 21 Top, Zara Skirt, DvF Handbag, Steve Madden Shoes
The last few months I’ve really been focusing on simple and more relaxed outfits, and my busy schedule (forthcoming wedding of my darling sis, yahoooo!!) and growing love for classic pieces have been key reasons.
I’ve always valued simplicity, nevertheless every once in a while, when I am in one of those vibrant moods, I’d try something different and experiment a little. Earlier I was mainly stuck with neutral colour palette dominated by black but now I have eventually started to experiment with different colours and styles. With the progress of the blog (and my age which is on the wrong side of 20), my style has evolved, and when I scroll through my pictures the self-improvement is satisfyingly apparent.

I have grown much comfortable in my skin and with the onset of the New Year (Diwali sets new year) I hope to continue on this journey with you guys where I’d share my style and learn along the way while being satisfied at every step.

HAPPY DIWALI & NEW YEAR!!!
xoxo

🇳🇱Netherlands now officially recommends reducing meat consumption, cutting cheese intake by half, and increasing plant-based proteins.

Why? Because food choices impacts m our health, and also the climate.

And the shift goes beyond advice….. Amsterdam has even banned meat advertisements in public spaces to encourage lower-emission food choices.

A fascinating example of how climate policy is increasingly showing up in everyday life. 🌱

What can we do?
Let’s ditch animal foods and embrace a plant based diet. Compassion + health

Thought cruelty-free meant no harm to animals? Thought you were buying ethical? Think again 😬😬

👉🏻 There’s a difference brands won’t tell you — 🐰 #crueltyfree doesn’t guarantee no animals were harmed. A cruelty free product can still have fish oil, bug juice or other animal ingredients.

You need to make sure the products you’re buying are both Cruelty-Free & #Vegan!

Let us get back to basics - slow living, clean (#plantbased) eating, buying what we need, ♻️ reusing-repurposing-recycling, treating food as medicine, less screen time and more living, connecting with nature, 🌎 giving planet the respect it deserves!

Because #EarthDay is everyday.

don’t travel solo…
“you’re married, go with your husband” — We’ve all heard this before…
but here’s the truth… solo travel hits different.

you reconnect with yourself, travel at your own pace, do things you love {and finally do everything you wanted to but was always pushing it back}, 🍰 eat what you want (all those vegan desserts without anyone watching you ☺️🙃), talk to strangers (a lot), sit alone without feeling weird ….. and somewhere in all that, you meet yourself.

scary? Not at all.
worth it? every single time. ✨
