90s fashion has found its way back into our closets and the good old denim jacket is reigning its glory back again. While I cannot think of a time when the denim jacket was not in style but the old school classic denim jacket is the hottest item to own right now. No wonder considering how chic and versatile the clothing item really is!
You can instantly make your evening dress or a dressy LBD appropriate for brunch meeting or lunch with your girls by layering it with a denim jacket. Put on a fedora or a floppy hat and the style quotient shoots up North. In fact paint your pout red and add some bling and you can take this look from day to night. I normally like to throw the jacket over the shoulders for a casual yet chic effect instead of wearing it on completely.
On weekends pair it with comfy chic sneakers and a full skirt dress and you are ready to run errands around town. They’re also ideal for in-between weathers.
Adding a denim jacket will put a cool spin to any outfit. I absolutely love denim jackets {I have more than 10 denim jackets amassed over the years} – and if you haven’t got one already get yourself one too.

On an aside note, these pictures were taken in Downtown Dubai on a super hot morning, right after which we headed for a vegan meal at Be Super Natural raw vegan restaurant at Dubai Mall and then a little shopping. I must say that although Dubai has the biggest malls in the world and nearly every designer and high street brand from around the world that you can image, Dubai seriously needs some good ethical fashion brands, good skincare and beauty brands {imagine Dubai does not even have Aveda and Origins} and definitely good lingerie.
