Where the sun always shines

You’ve seen this before, but I loved it (outfit inspired by post Colours of India).

Fashion for me has never been about following a certain trend, although of course inspiration abound. I feel style is like life, it evolves with your exprience and exposure. It is in a constant state of flux and refinement.

I’ve been trying to find my feet between me (two yrs back [known as the black clad lady]) and me (now) sartorially; and finally I found my spot. I was never a risk averse person (for as long as I remember) so why the holding back? Fashion for me is now about “why not?”. And this outfit with a burst of colours is just a re-iteration of it.

Zara Skirt, D&G Cardigan and Sunglasses, Warehouse Shirt, River Island Shoes, Ring own design

Yellow and Pink? Why not. Red and Yellow? Sounds great. Brown and Orange? Sure. It’d sound crazy on paper but all of it mixed together?  Wooooooooooo. The excitement of clashing colours was strong enough that paying heed to any piece of colour co-ordinating advice could not have stopped me. Why restrain the inner desire to expreriment and be naughty?

All right before I go, have to share this. The bright sun and all these happy colours and the peppiness emanating from me is getting me to sing “Pocketful of Sunshine” (oh this singing wouldn’t last very long. All the summer fun and its fancy is short-lived in Bombay. The soaring temperature and aggravating humidity does not leave any room for it).

Vegan and Jain food in Budapest? Everyone told me I’ll have a hard time. But not only did I fall in love with the city for its beauty and old world charm, ruin bars, fab party scene and breathtaking sunset views of Danube river, but also amazing #veganfood.

Here are my fav vegan restaurants in Budapest that are also Jain friendly:
🌱 @tranzitbyflow - the chef custom made Jain meals for us and everything was yum
🌱 @napfenyes.etterem - their Somali dumplings are out of the world, it’s vanilla carob sponge cake with whipped cream. You can’t leave the city without trying them (I went every day just for this to this restaurant)
🌱 @vegazzihun - vegan pizzeria in Budapest 🥰
🌱 @theplanteen - pancakes & desserts
🌱 @ganeshavegaetelbar - vegan Indian food
🌱 @vegangardenbudapest - not very Jain friendly though
🌱 @szabad_vegan_bistro - call them if u want jain options
